I am building up my B16 and would like some advice on wat kind of piston to use... I am going N/A with some ITBs in the future... I was wondering if CTRs would be good enough... or if I should go the after market route.. thnx

if your planning on going n/a with itb's then why not go all out, b16s arent all that great going n/a with the stock bore. so you might as well go the aftermarket route with the works.

Why are you going N/a with such a small displacement? Are you trying to prove a point?

Not to bash, i'd just reconsider a 1.6L n/a build.

For the money you spend making 200whp on a b16 you could probably put a k20 in your car. (being that you buy a used k20)

the only reason i like the 1.6 setup is that it has a short stroke and light recipricating mass so I can spin rpms like crazy.... lol i know the work has to be done to do that also..

You like having to rev to 9500 rpms to make power?

I'm sure you'd enjoy a faster car much more than revving.

Good luck on your build though. I wish I even had money for a build, or gas, or anything.
