just wondering becuase my car is throwing a egr valve light i was wondering where the egr valve is? its a 96 accord the 4 cyclinder vtec

 

what code? lift sensor, or low flow?

 

on your intake manifold, if u look from the front of the car its to the rear of the valve cover on the left. its a round thing with one vacuum hose on it.

 

behind the valve cover just left of it gold in color black valve on top of it two thing cause the light to come on one a sticking egr valve two bolt and its off use carb cleaner clean inside valve or on the left fender well the is a valve called egr solenoid valve this valve has lots of vaccum lines comming off of it one connector two pin this valve you must replace its also sticks cleaning it really wont help kind of pricey 114.00 or get on used for much chepper they should come with a 30 day warr hope that helped you out some tarponhunter out
