this predates the gpz's by several years She already at 6500+ there is also a stock oem 1978 of the bay for 5600 already, I knew I should have kept mine.

the Yammi and Honda turbo's were really Turdbo's, but they sold okay. In retrospect they are a cool oddity to add to a collection. Don't forget to add in there the xn85 slowzuki. the GPZ 750 was the real deal, but none came close to the original TC Z1-R
Yeah, I should have listen to my mom... I dropped the bike the first day I had it, well over 550 lbs and I must have weight only 140 lbs soaking wet. But it was a different time, it wasn't cool to ride, it was counter culture... the dregs of the population that partook in the sport.
FYI for the Kawi, 10.9 sec with a 4.00-18H Dunlop K87... hahahahahaha:

Hard to say... a ten second bike on bias ply street tires that are merely 4.00... say stick some 190 or 200 on there in radial form and see what it will do when you turn up the boost(adjustable on that bike)

MSchu, as a Kawi fan I am sure you have heard of classicrunners USA. If not check it out... http://www.classicrunners.com
I went there the other day on my lunch break looking for some Kawi parts. They got the goods!
They also had a very nice CB400 four

Hey the heavy collecting has already begun unfortunately as evidenced by the sale price of the OEM Z1-R that just sold off ebay for 6800 last week(new off the show room floor they were 3250 otd). That turbo I listed above is already at 12k... worth every penny. this HAS been brewing for sometime, but it appears to be in full swing. so if your into classics you had better squirrel one or two away. I can see this already crossing over into the import car market also, but at a slower rate of increase. the reason it took so long for te Japanese collectors market to come on is because of the sheer numbers of cars/bikes produced... now this no longer matters... a 1974 z-1 900 is over 33 years old. I just sold my Original owner 1992 GSR for over 5500, I know that does not sound like a lot but the price is firm and the car was over 15 years old... not to bad(should have kept that ******)
