Wiring issues
Ok, ive been working on my car for about 2 months now and am 99% of the way complete with the swap, Im putting a B16B into my 90 CRX STD.
ive already switched over to manual with clutch pedals and shifter and all the mess of wiring but the problem im having with the car is the main engine wiring harness.
Ive got the DX/STD wiring harness and picked up a SI wiring harness from the junkyard the other day.
The problom im having is i know i can do the wiring to change the DX/STD wiring harness into a MPFI harness but all the guides ive been reading are talking about De-pinning at the ECU and so forth and im going with the OBD0 to OBD1 setup. i have the obd0 to obd1 jumper harness from Rywire and a p30 Ecu and dont know what i should do about all this depinning at the ecu stuff (the guides seem to make it look like there using a DX ecu , im using the p30), or if i would be able to convert the si wiring harness some how to fit my car.
if anyone has a guide to either make the dx harness work without the Ecu being depinned and rewired or converting the SI harness it would help alot , i just want to have the car back on the road.

you just use the DX harness and do the DPFI to MPFI wiring changes at the ECU as if it was staying OBD0 - these wiring changes are to add wires from the ECU to the engine bay which don't exist in the DX chassis harness - these are the wires for the 2 additional injectors and for the Cylinder Sensor - you then just use the OBD0 to OBD1 ECU jumper harness in order to plug the OBD1 ECU into the DX chassis harness - if you use the OBD1 injectors, you won't need the injector resistor box - the Si engine harness will not work in the DX car
