i have a 96 accord LX 2 dr with a jdm h22a and ive just finshed installing A/C in my car and then for some reason everytime i turn on the A/C it tends to want to die out or sometimes just die then i would have to crank her up agian. i duno wat could be the problem!!!!!

 

how did you charge the a/c?
did you spin the compressor over before you installed it?

If you rev the engine some will it keep running?

 

when i hooked it up i just charged it with a whole can of a/c and then it kicks on then for a lil bit it kicks off then back on agian n what do u mean spin the compressor over?

 

well it sounds like it's not charged enough to begin with.
And by spin it over i mean to make sure it wasn't seized, but it seems like it's not.

So if you keep your rpm up it won't die? If so check your idle. it should be about 750rpm.

 

hmmm.... i checked the pressure it was at the border line of full and when my car is idlin and when i turn on the ac the car just shuts right off
