I'm planning to get a hitch for my 06 Pilot to tow a jet ski. I noticed that the installation instructuions require an ATF cooler and PS fluid cooler. Are these really necessary for towing something as light as a jet ski? I only tow it occasionaly, and usually for short distances. thanks -kevin

 

it may not be for your particular application but if your transmission fails for some reason and honda finds you didn't have coolers they may give you some hassle
