so im outside putting on my rear agx kyb's and some arospeed coilvers that were given to me, i get them all installed, drop the car off the jacks, stock height and the shocks are stiff *** f$%@!!!!!!! so im thinking, ok ill jack it back up and adjust the spring perches down, so i do that drop it back off the jacks, and whatya no, STOCK HEIGHT, didnt lower it at all on either adjustments, and still stiff as F$%@, cant even budge the shocks, WTF am i diong wrong here, please help ASAP!!!!

 

those coilovers are very stiff and suck ***! Could be your first problem

 

you might have to remove the dust boot (metal thing with rubber bottom that covers the shock body) because when you are lowering the car it is resting on this boot. That is why the rear feels so stiff...it is not even resting on the spring. I did the same thing on my hatch. Here was my thread:

red civic std was right. I usally just take mine out when i cahnge springs. No worry about cutting them to make them work right.haHAHAHA
