If I were to spend that kind of money on a rex, it would have to be completely flawless (like the ones that go for $9k) Like streetwerks pointed out, it's starting to rust and has a nice rip in the seat - and only has 30k miles

People like to take cars like this and move the 1 back to a 0 and thats how you get a 30,xxx mile car with rust and a bad seat.

My car is in better shape cosmeticaly than that car, and mine has 171,xxx on it.....

 

I don't believe the mileage...The seat is ripped with only 31k??!! I have a few friends that have over 200k with cleaner seats.
As far as mileage, there is a guy in Portland that has a Black 89' CRX Si with only 18k!!! no joke, our sister shop did a tuneup on it and some old guy drives it only a few days a year

 

The seat could easily be ripped with only 30k miles.

The upholstery and foam is probably all dry rotted. The guy states the car sat outside for years. It's possible.

The a/c doesn't work, the car has rust, etc etc...the list goes on.

Who cares if it only has 30k miles...it's not a good deal.

Torn seats at 31K? I call BS.its niot in good enough shape to warrant the 5K+ price tag. mine with 120K is in way better shape than that, is a 91, and I purchased it for 3K.

 

Too many flaws. He changed the sunroof panel cuz it had rust ? with 31,000 miles ?
Torn seat, broken heater control panel, rust starting on 1/4 panel.
he said he polished the paint ? Why ? was it faded that much ????

I wonder what it looks like underneathe the car ??
As far as mileage, most likely this car has 131,000 miles.

There's a reason why he is selling it.

It's worth $5000 tops.

 

its not the mileage that makes rust start, its time.

i assume he lives in a very sunny part of the states.. i didnt read the thing at all. so the reason he polished the paint is because it was sitting outside for 2 years.

seats can be worn or cut easilly.

stop being haters.

i would never spend that much no mater how mint it was though.
