So I am trying to use my CD/Cassette Adapter by Phillips to listen to my CD and its not working. I insert the cassette adapter into the player and it just makes mechanical noise and checks both sides of the cassette adapter a couple of times and ejects the cassette adapter. I've tryed for an hour to figure out whats wrong but I came up with nothing. A couple of months ago I had it working fine. In this time I have done nothing to the cassette player. The adapter is not faulty because I tried it in another vehicle and it worked fine.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.
