Default what should i do to a wagovan? potential project

Alright so im planning on getting a wagovan for a summer project, i currently own a 91 crx with an sohc zc

im looking to get a wagon with a blown motor and do a complete motor swap.

i was an rt4wd wagon, but i noticed there hard to find, expecially for a good price, but i have found 2 fwd wagons for under 1k, and will probably be buying one of them soon.

My plan: get a 3k$ personal load, and put it mostly towards a wagon, and a little towards my crx.

why get a wagon?
i love the ef's and already have one so i know the basic engine stuff about them.
why not a sedan, hatch or crx?
for some reason i dont like the hatches... i already have a crx and i want a back seat, and i lot of people have sedans.

wagons are the ultimate honda granny mobile, other than a mini-van so it would make the best sleeper

most of you may think the wagon is a bad choice because you would think its heavy but from my research the wagon is only around 30lbs more than an si hatch back, 30lbs lighter than an hx sedan and about 150lbs more than a crx si for the 91 model year, so weight wise there all about the same

so now for the purpose of the thread.
what motor should i drop into the wagon?
sohc zc and d15b are the obvious easiest
dohc zc, notch up, just about as easy, but is there aftermarket support for the dohc zc's?
i dont really want to do any other than a D series swap because of the fact that hasport mounts are so expensive, but are there other companies that make conversion kits?

really the question is does the dohc have aftermarket support or should i stick with an sohc zc or d15b?

ALSO IM RELATIVELY NEW AT SWAPS, ALTHOUGH I HELPED WITH PUTTING THE SOHC ZC IN MY CAR, THIS PROJECT IS KINDA TO SEE IF I CAN DO IT, SO I DONT WANT SOMETHING THATS GOING TO BE TOO HARD....
