Default 18x7.5 with 215/35z/r18

putting 18x7.5 with 215/35 on my 95 civic coupe with like an inch drop. Looking for any advice on fitment or just personal opinions on overall affect on performance. Also plannin to drop an h22 in the bay soon.

They will probably rub and will negatively affect your rolling resistance and drag (re: slower car). The absolute biggest I would recommend for a 92-95 civic would be a 17x7 wheel with a 205/40/17 tire.

Yup. They also have a larger outer diameter which results in slower acceleration (like putting taller gears in your car).

I wouldn't go bigger than 205/40-16. Especially if you're looking for performance. Get 16x7 wheels and slap some Azenis RT-615 in that size onto them.

damnit! I bought some a couple months ago brand new and already mounted and balanced the walni 215/35z/r18 on them was about to put them on. Stupid mistake I guess. Will the affect on performance be dramatic?

Are you asking about the effect on performance from using tires that are so large, or the effect on performance from rubbing, or the effect on performance from using crappy Wanli tires?

You can always sell the wheels to some other sucker...

appreciate the info. I guess I goin to sell them and maybe just get some si wheels. If anybody is lookin for brand new 18" gunmetal rims with the tires already mounted and balanced and ready to throw on a car with 4x114.3, I have some for sell. Paid about $1,000 all together but will let them go for cheaper. Sweet lookin rims with polished lip.

they really aint that bad if ya roll your front lip and dont dump the car ( exceed 3" ) its not that bad i had that setup witht he car lowered 3"-4" and only a prob when i turned the wheel all the way to make a uturn after that i put 215 35 19 on the car and still drove it not for the weak of heart thought
