I was jus getting off of work and jump in my car and its a no start. It was pretty hot today so its been sitting out in the sun all day so not sure if thats a factor. I replaced the distributor cap and rotor and the plugs i put in are fairly new maybe about 3 or 4 months ago. The car turned over and everything...the battery is charged and im pretty sure the starter is good but i could be mistaken....please help!!!!If you guys could tell me what to look for or how to test something that could be the problem.

did you check your plugs for spark?

 

not yet...that was the first thing that im goin to do....i was jus waiting to see what people said on here first...thanks though

 

well if you get spark and it still doesn't crank over try tapping the starter with a hammer.

 

yea i checked spark and it has spark...i got the car to start.....the wierdest thing is that i was sitting there for about 15 minutes jus chillin out in the parting lot and so i was kinda on a hill so i released the e-brake and rolled back a little and then i pulled it up and then i started it and it started right up so....but yes i do have spark and it starts fine now so i dont know
