Default Fighting Theft

I was wondering about people worried about theft, ( i think all of us), i thought about parking my car somewhere and just for like one night, just wating for someone to steal it then jump out of nowhere and catch the thief with your friends or with a blunt object.....have any of yall tried this?..like a sting? or with a hidden camera?..any stories?

Yeah, I would have thought more people who have surveillance equipment watching their R's, then they know how it was stolen and would have great leads on catching the criminal.

There's surveillance supplies out there that could do the job for less than what people are putting inside their cars.

I have thought about it, and iis very tempting, but I have no gun, and I don't want to set my car up as the sting. It would be the best feeling in he world to kick a guy screwing with my car right in the face. I have a lot of pent up anger regarding car thefts. Like they say, it's almost worth somebody doing something just to catch them.

depends on location, i bet...

sounds like we have to be awake when the car is parked late at night. seems like thefts all happen late at night in the wEE hours when most of us should be aslEEp

Im down. We can set up two sting operations. We can either involve the police and let them know what we are doing so they will be alert when we call them. Or we can do this vigelante'(sp?) style.

If we choose to stay on our own with this then we can compare notes and attack methods...lol

East coast sting and west coast sting. Who ever beats the **** out of their thief the most wins! Bring those digi cameras! Caught on tape! muwhahahaha

9grand >> that's cool >> I know if you are nice to everyone then it can sometimes filter through the channels and you get the "hands off" status around town

if anyone is up for this IM me. despite Annapolis being a nice town it's been getting boring recently
