Cleaning the gunk off the dash!
My dash is covered in the spray gunk that dealerships normally use to make it shine and look new. I can't stand this stuff, its messey and sticks to your fingers and gives bad sunlight/night-time reflections on the windscreen.
I've used soap and water, window cleaner and a water based motorcycle cleaner, they get it better but when you wipe it up, it seems to shine right up again.
Does anyone have any suggestions or favourites for this?

Well...I know for a fact paint thinner will get it off no problem, if you're scared to use that, soak a rag with gasoline, squizee the gas out so it's just damp and use that, then wipe your dash with a wet rag ( water ).

use Meguiar's plastic-rubber-vinyl Cleaner. It isn't all nasty armor shiny, and is UV protectant. It will get rid of that extra shine without using harsh schitt on your dash like gas. I hope they were just kidding with you about the gas and other stuff. That would probably mess up your dash.
