Whats the difference between a z6 and y8 vtec solenoild?

Whats the difference between a z6 and y8 vtec solenoid?

I just got a vtec solenoid from a zc motor and i have a y8. Will i be able to swap it?

should be the same thing. whats wrong with yours? if its leaking or something just buy a new gasket from honda. its two of them. they will run like $35.

all the same even the vtec-e and hx vtec are the same...they do the same job.

What about the z6?? Are they the same too?I dont think they are. Theres nothing wrong with mine, this was free and brand new.
