Maintainence Required Light
My 2000 Accord's yellow "maintainence required" sign under the tachometer suddenly came on after I was doing a 275mile highway drive from Orlando to Tallahassee. It never came up before, usually it justs flashes 4x prior to starting the car but now it just stays on. And I don't get whats the difference between the Check engine light and the maintainence required light? Are they the same thing?? My check engine light is off.
The Check Engine Light and Maintenance Required Light are different.
If you do regular maintenance such as regular oil changes, etc., you're okay. If you want to reset it, look in the Accord FAQs up top.

To reset. (even though i suggest the Search button) With the key off , press the select button on your gauge. Hold for 10-15 secs. Then turn your key to 2nd.(run i think) HOLD IT until the indicator goes away. Thats it. Next time you start it, it'll go away.

If you had left it those earlier times, it would have reached the point where it stays on.
This time you just went right thru those couple hundred miles...

His is a little harder than your 91 Accord. Your Accord you just have to push the button in the gauge cluster. His is more electronic.
