OEM colored spray paint
I'm wondering if anybody has ever used spray paint that was mixed to match their car. I used some a few years ago, and it work alright. I was thinking of doing my engine bay this way. What do you think?
As far as i know, all you can get is the scratch filler paint, in the small bottles at the dealer. As for in large amounts, i think you must go by color coding, only a bodyshop or autobody enthusiast would know how to do that.

If you contact a jobber that deals with PPG or DuPont, they can usually mix you paint and put it in a spray can. There is also a website someone linked where you can actually order it in a spray can, all you do it give them your paint code, I'll try to find it for ya.

you can order it in touch up form or spray can.

There's a company here called Finish Masters. You just go in and give them the paint code, and they mix up a spray paint can of the color. It's a full size spray can. It's about $12 a can. I used it once to fix a rust spot that I fixed. I just wondered how it would work for a larger area.
