My cusin is running a 1991 hatchbacck si. He bought it with no motor, and want to know if a d16 out of a 1992 would work? Some people told him that he could he would have to put the a6 intake manifold on it. Is this true?

Yes it's common and you don't need to use the a6 manis.

 

so ya theres a few things you need to know first off search about how to convert to OBD1 *cough* rywire conversion harness...... since that will be the biggest part of that swap.
