Beginner pics
Hello everyone, I was able to borrow a buddy's fuji finepix a few weeks ago and snapped some pics of mine and my buddy's car. I think they are ok, considering the fact that I'm a complete n00b when it comes to photography...

Well, as a photographer, I would say you are doing quite well.
Here's a few tips to think about:
1) shoot with the sun at your back. That keeps your subject (the car) well lit and shadow-free.
2) use a low angle; get down on your knees or sit/lay on the ground, or whatever to get a low angle. it adds drama to the pic.
3) watch the background. Avoid trees, powerlines, (staircases), etc that "touch" or "grow out of" the car.
4) watch the "level", meaning make sure things are straight up and down or horizontal.
You've got a great looking car, and it does well in the camera!
