Default 96-00 hatch mini mi swap help!

sup all, i got a 96 civic cx hatch with a d16y7 stock non vtec motor and i wanna do a mini mi swap. i got a d15b vtec head i think its obd1 do u guys know if this head will work work on my car or do i have to change anything to make it possible ?? thanks

Yes it should work, but your going to need to keep your Y7 distributor, and get a wiring harness thats made for VTEC, and also because the Y7 uses a different platform for the IACV, its a 3 wire plug on the y8, where as on any other manifold ( assuming your using the D15's manifold) its only a 2 plug.

Your going to need to swap manifolds as well because the ecu's for VTEC all use the standard manifold that uses 2 plugs for the IAC, plus their designed better
