well i filled my car up on monday in palmdale i went to lancaster and used half a gallon!!!! what could cause shitty gas mileage beside low air and dirty air filter???

when was the last time you changed the oil/oil filter. I would do the PCV vavle and throw in some fuel injection cleaner with engine restoration. Start with what you mentioned and then do what i listed. Its been pretty hot in socal lately so that A/C being on and all that hot air might be causing it too, just throwing that out there....

 

lol i dont use the a/c so i might end up selling it...lol well the next oil change is due in less than 1000 miles

 

Bad O2 sensor(s), worn Map sensors, dirty fuel filter, and dirty airfilter will all cause bad gas mileage. Also worn and poor ignition can cause bad gasmileage, because if your not getting a good fuel combustion/burn, your just wasting gas.

Also it has allot to do with your driving habbits
