ok, i have a stock 93 civic ex, and ill just be cruising and my car would just shut off out of nowhere. then i would pull over to the side then it would start right up??? Sometimes it would take a while to start. I changed the main relay and distributor and that didnt fix it. What could it be???

 

sounds almost like you have a fault ignition switch....

 

was it a new or a used distributor ... are you getting and CEL's ... i had that same problem and it was in the dizzy ...

 

no CELs and I only changed the ignitor in the distributor???
