Hmmm tires
Well unfortunatly I need some new tires for my 02' S2K. I have done a few searches and talked to tire rack and here's what I am debating between:
Bridgestone Potenza RE01-R
Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3
Bridgeston Potenza RE750
Federal SS-595
The car is my daily driver so I need to be able to drive the car in the rain, the tires don't need to be great in the rain I just need to get from point A to B.
Another question I have is should I stick with the stock size 205/55 front, 225/50 rear. I have heard of people using 245/45 for the rears instead. Which setup would be better for me. I do drive the car fairly aggressive and if I get some free time from work I would like to do some track events. Thanks

From: TRILLINOIS....WAY downtown, jerky.
Hankook RS2 Z212 i think is the name. 225/50/16 front, 245/45/16 rear would give you pretty much the exact same overall size as your stock front and rear setup, and it would give you more contact patch.
It's hard to find tires in those sizes. I work at a tire shop that used to deal with bridgestone until we dropped them....I cant say i liked the RE750s very much.
Too bad you cant get azenis in the stock 205/55 OR the 245/45 sizes lol so you couldnt do azenis either way.
I dont know if the RE01-R is available in stock sizes or the up sizes. Those are great tires, though. And fairly cheap.
