Default Anyone ever change the order of the dash gauges (4th gen)

With my height, and where I have the steering wheel to drive, I can't see my directionals, much of the speedo, and a lot of times I am listening to music and drive liek my grandpa with the directionals on for miles..

Has anyone swapped the speedo/tach section with the CEL/brake/clock section?
I wanted to try to get a feel for how much work it will be to swap them out before I tear my dash apart and also if I'll need to extend the wires for each cluster

have you tried a booster chair or something else? My sisters friend used to sit on pillows to get the extra boost in height.

It'll be a LOT of work if you can even do it. The 2 sides are setup very different, with the speedo/tach side being all 1 piece, and the fuel/temp/CEL side being severeal different layers bolted together. Plus the whole thing has a curve to it that might pose a problem...

hmm, I guess there isn't any other way o figure this out than to try it myself.. I know this sounds retarded, but all I really get pissed off about it the directionals, I could care less about speed and i'm rarely driving AT redline, so I might just splice into the lights that tell you when your blinker is on and run two single leds to blink in th center console under the stereo, that way I can definatly see them blinking anytime
