ok ive been at this for a couple days now. my car will not start. my dizzy is good my alternator is new my starter is cranking and i found out the problem but not 100% sure
the problem i think it is is that when i turn the key to the point where it shows the check engine light, battery, oil and brake lights i do not hear the fuel pump at all.
does this mean i need a new fuel pump or is my main relay bad??
please help its getting really annoying hahaha

i checked the chiltons repair book and it told me to conect a wire from the fuel pump to the ignotion and i did that but not sure if i did it correctly. i also just took my friends main relay off his hatch and still no sighn of the fuel pumping

 

Just reread your post, and I was wrong. The main relay would be faulty if it doesn't click after the CEL goes out. If you don't hear you fuel pump priming it's either the pump, a relay or the wiring. Find the hot lead for the fuel pump (I think it's a green/blk wire) and connect it to the ignition and see if it primes. If it doesn't I'd be willing to bet that the pump is dead.

yoyoyoyoyyoyoyoyoo!! i just found out the problem, turns out that me and my friend both had bad relays kuz we live right next to each other and one of our other friends came through and mine started right upp hahaha yo thanks for your help though man peace!!
