i know for a fact that there are problems putting a cable FD in a hydro tranny. I'm not sure of the other way around. pm MistaBone or Bense....but bense will probably ignore your pm....he get's like 100 of them a day.

<-Running hydro 4.25:1 differential in a cable case(CRX Si countershaft).

I believe the hydro countershafts are a little longer than the cable ones.

The good thing about the hydro differentials is they don't have that weak pin issue. I believe Bone was using a hydro differential in one of his transmission too. Just make sure the bearings are shimmed correctly.

88-2000, the diffs are the same size, also the ring gears are interchangeable.

But you WILL need a Si countershaft, might as well get the matching ring gear. There was on on Ebay this week for $1, $20 shipping.

Damn thing was sold for $51 + shipping, holy crap batman.
