Most people swap a B16 into the 2nd gen integras. They are cheap and plentiful.

I believe that is when you mate an H22 with a B-series tranny.

As for a swap into a 2nd Gen Integra:

B16A, B16B, B18C, B20, LSVTEC, B20VTEC, all common swaps. I would think the H22 would be one of the more rare swaps, not the most common.

And if you live in Cali, your legal choices are limited.

1st gen OBD 0 B16a, cheapest way to reliable vtec.
It's doable, just make sure to use all OEM parts and a generous BAR referee.

b16 or b20

I personally like the b20 with some headwork in 2nd gens
but alot of ppl do the b16

I would say those are the 2 most common and prolly cheapest and easiest.

b16's are very common...bolts right up to a DA. The nice thing about the B16s is that they were made to go into G2 (in Japan). So because of that, much of it is simple drop in/plug n play, if you will. Not many mods are needed to do it.

Honestly if you put a b16 in your DA most likely a LS w/ bolt ons will beat it lol. Those b16 don't have torque.

any b series swap is common, just depends on your pockets. depending on the mileage, just boost it.

I agree....I have a friend that put a B16 in to his DA. That is why I considered it. His car is quite a bit faster than mine. In anycase I decided to go LSV.

I'll probably go with a B18B in my 92 LS and mate it to a B16 cable tranny with LSD. In the future, I can always swap on a GSR head. I love OBD1.

I would think that a B18B with your stock tranny is the most common. But I guess a lot of people go with the B16.

why swap a b16 in a DA? cuz there are kinda cheap and plentiful more than gs-r's......then when your are able to get a b18c's it will just hop right in.
