dont bother to say the type-s IS the type-r cus it isnt its simply the gsr just like there was only the gsr as top of the line integras until type r came out and there is a type r rsx in japan so when will it come to the usa ???????
That's strange, in Toronto, Canada, I saw one at the dealer and I can put deposit on it already. It will be ready at the end of this year. Will take pictures next time when I go there.

Once again, no one knows for sure when the RSX-R will appear since Honda in typical fashion is not giving any hints. Some factors to consider:
-When the first ITR came out there wasn't that much competition in the segment. Now the 350Z, RX-8, WRX, EVO VII/VIII, and a few others are out to take market share from the R. Honda cannot wait till the last two years of the RSX's production to bring the car out. This suggests sooner.
-The ITR had to have quite a few time/labor intensive modifications from the factory to make it what it was. The B18C5 for one, was an engine that was stretched quite a bit to make the power it does. The K20(A I believe) probably won't need as much trick engineering to produce meaning less cost, and less manufacturing lead time. This suggests the RSX-R will appear sooner.
-The ITR has a huge following and casts a halo on the entire Honda/Acura brand. Leaving this car out of the lineup for several years would be a mistake. Sooner.
