Help: A few questions on HID kits
This topic has probably been beaten like roadkill but i havent found a difinitive answer through searching.
I'm looking for a place to purchase an HID kit, plug and play, or retro. I have so far been unable to find a good retro solution for CRX headlights; I drive an 88CRX SI. I really fear going aftermarket headlights, as honda made an awesome decision when they used glass on their stuck headlights. Also looking for recommendations from other HT members on brand. I want 30,000k if possible, the reason being because they stick out and i like the look. I was thinking of running a 6000K set in my high beam spot, as when i had them both on i would have more light than id know what to do with. Also, because the color temp is less output on the 30,000k's i could run the 6000k's if desired. The question is....would 2 kits take more power than a GSR alternator can put out?
Suggestions for a retailer and brand are appreciated

1.) 30,000K would be so unbelievably dim. halogens would be brighter.
2.) get an aftermark headlight housing and swap out projectors
3.)4300K is the brightest HID you can get.
4.) HID's only run off of 35 watts of power
5.) Don't get 30,000K
