Default New headlights

I was looking into getting new headlights for my 2000 prelude. They are really yellow and even after sanding them down, they don't look that good. Is there any that are really nice and recommended? I wouldn't mind getting the projector ones but I always fear buying car stuff on ebay. Is there any that you guys have had good success with? We have the projector on our new 07 pilot and those are wonderful.

Thanks

There are OEM replacements for about $300 a set. I think the company is named Depo.

They started making them back in Jan. I've retrofitted probably about 8 or 9 pairs of these now, and the fitment is great. They have plenty of sealant on them, so they shouldn't leak

For the orginal poster, if you're looking to get projectors, get a set retrofitted. I actually have been doing retrofits for about 3 years now. As for the ebay projectors, I had a person from Australia send me a pair and from looking at them, the quality doesn't look too great. Only thing I like about them is that they have clear lenses instead of having those lines engraved in the lenses. If you don't want either, defantly just get a set of DEPO OE replacement lights.

I wanted to get projector headlights for my lude, but then I searched around cardomain.com and found out that EVERYBODY has them, lol. I haven't heard any bad stuff about them. I think they have a few LED lights for parking lights. There are a few different kinds. You can get projectors with a black background, or chrome, or clear. All on ebay for like, $400 maybe? Later!

You've been retrofitting the Depo's? Are their projectors poor quality or somthing?

DEPO doesn't make projector headlights, they make OE replacements.

What is the black back mod? Mine is a black prelude so I'm not sure if black with a black car would look good. I see alot of cars that are black with black rims and for some reason, they just don't look right. I'm not worried about what is in or not, just my personal preference. I'm not into the "altezza" rear light look but I think the projectors are pretty sweet. In my county, I only see another 5th gen maybe once every 3 months.

My main fear was just cheap workmanship. I guess I could always try one out, and just silicone the seams on the outside for extra protection.
