Okay so I've gone down the passenger foot well with a flashlight, but i still can't find the 2p connector to run the paper clip test with, can anyone tell me where it is among the load of wires down there?

I kinda expected it to just dangle there like in the manual.

Or is there another way to do it?

It's in a weird spot, on the right hand side of the trans. tunnel behind the carpet. Here's a photo from the Helms, sucks but hopefully it will give you an idea of where to look. C409 service check connector.
