ok i have a d16a1 on my 88 si tranny with 21 teeth it is time for a new clutch and the guy that i got the motor off of has a stage 2 clutch new still in the box for the d16a1 i was wondering if anybody knew how many teeth those tranny's came with

 

D16A1 had 21 spline 200mm diameter clutch disc

 

well it should work fine with me 88 si tranny correct?

 

how are u going to mount a 86 a1 tranny

 

nah i am running my 88 si tranny but i wont to use the d16a1 clutch kit. they both have 21 spline teeth and r 200mm so it should work i will find out tom neways

 

ask the parts stores if the part # is the same on the clutch kit.
