Ramdom ? but please look
Ok I was thinking today and came up with a good idea. What if you were to take a 9" slime fan and make a bracket for it and put it in front of your intake. This way the fan is pushing more air into your motor. I will be doing this on a short ram. Let me here your opinions on this idea. Thanks.

well i hope u meant a slim fan... and to tell u the truth, the only thing it would do is either cool the temp of the air by a few degrees, or put hot air from the engine in... its not techinically forcing air in there so it wouldnt do much if at all, posibly make it worse...
Yes I did mean a slim fan. I just figured by putting that fan infront of the intake that it might help your engine by getting more air. But hook it up to a place where it can get air outside of the car and force more cooler air into the engine bay.
Im not sure for the trouble youd get any benefit, and it might make youre engine compartment look a bit odd. You'd get mreo benefit by making your own icebox, and suck air from behind the bumper.
Search google for electric superchargers. Most require far more power than your alternator can supply. Your design is a waste of time. Thomas Knight makes electric superchargers as a universal add on for vehicles without a strong aftermarket.

It would probly do nothing more than create unwanted turbulance...
