i hope some one here can save my husband alot of money lol

well we have a 1994 honda accord 2.0LSi.

lovly and nice car up until now!

the problem is that:

1st: the ABS light won't go off as soon as i start the car about after 5 minutes later the ABS light will come on and stay on.

2nd: The handbrake light doesn't go off even when the handbreak is down! (i've checked for light blubs but they all seem fine)

3rd: the car will rev automactaly without me pushing the gas. it will go something like this woooom wooooom wooooom i hope u understand lol

come somebody please help us out with these problems and tips on what to check or hints what i can do to make this all go away lol

Have you checked the brake fluid under the hood.

 

might need new brakes

 

I don't believe there's a sensor for telling if you need new pads lol

I believe like Dave said the light will go on for brake fluid

 

yea i know there is a clipper on the pads that make noise when the pad is too low but my friend had a similar situation. His fluids were fine so he decided to replace his brakes and the light went away.

 

yeah done that still the same.

then it was just coincidence.

OP:
Have you checked the switch thats with the e-brake handle (can't think of it's exact name) inside the center console. The switch that tells if the e-brake is pulled or not, maybe that went bad.

 

If that switch is stuck, or if the float switch in the brake fluid reservoir is stuck, it CAN cause an ABS error.

There's an ABS error (2-1) for the handbrake being on when you're driving. If that's the error code that your ABS has stored, it shouldn't come back after you fix whatever is causing the handbrake warning lamp to stay on.

You also mentioned surging idle in your first post... Check out:
vacuum leaks
air pockets in cooling system
dirty throttle body
improperly adjusted throttle cable (should NOT hold throttle open AT ALL)
improperly adjusted base idle (not the same as 800rpm operating idle)
dirty IACV
dirty FITV

 

Ok I hope Im not wasting my time here cause I dont know if you fixed it alraedy! In a 1994 accord you have a obd 1 ecu (computer) which you are able to read error codes manually by simply jumping a plug under the dash bord on the passenger side. the reason you abs light is comming on is because your E-brake is tripping a code by not registering that its all the way down. I dont know why thats happening but Im going to go out on a limb and say its probably the wiring or the sensor. If you take the center consol out you will notice there is a button that the ebrak is supposed to push when it is all the way down, try pushing it down with you finger and check if the light goes off. Once the e-brake light goes off you abs will work again!
