Default help: inspect my block b18a1

never really seen a block upclose, beside inside the engine bay and i notice these cracks in n outside the block.. im wondering if these are normal
sorry for the noob question

I'm 90% sure thats normal. Every block I've had, has those. Just check the sleeves.

the sleeves looks good.. im still going to bore n honed the sleeves

I thought maybe the block was painted and those cracks were just in the paint...then you showed the inside. I would probably let a machine shop clean it and inspect it, but that is because I am ignorant in what could be a problem.

Looks like marks left from the original casting. Just looks ugly covered in dirt and oil!
