95 civic ex motor

Default 95 civic ex motor

i just bought a 95 2dr civic ex with a vtech engine i was thinking about swapping it but i'm not sure if that engine got potential or what.

Save your money, drive that **** stock, and think about what your plans for the car are. And when you have decided what you want to do, think about it some more and ask yourself if its all really worth it. No point in spending 1k for I/H/E if you are going to dish out twice as much+ for a swap. If you plan on doing boost you can invest in prepping the engine right now by replacing the timing belt and water pump if neccessary. The D16z6 is a good motor and will last you a long time if you take care of it. Not much power, but a good motor nonetheless. Be wise in your decision, dont make your 2.5k civic into a 15k+ car if you feel this is just a phase.
