Hey sorry for the f'd up topic line! My q is i have a D15B Vtec engine when it comes to buying parts such as water pump, spark plugs, etc. What do i ask for at the auto parts store!!! Any input would be greatly appreciated!!! Also what i really care about now is the water pump ,Spark plugs!! Since i need to do my swap this weekend!! THANX

 

Just about ALL 92-00 D series motors use the same shaped parts, bolt threading, and other things. If you need a water pump, just tell them its a 92-95 civic DX/lx ( D15's)

Well as long as your not buying parts for the 99-00 civic SI, (B16) youll be fine. The 92-95 SI is just the EG hatch with the D16Z6 motor. Like i said, just about every single thing is interchangable on all 92-00 D series motors, with the exception of the OBD differences (knock and crank sensors, Dizzy wiring, ect)

By the way the dumbass at the A zone said it was from a b16 motor just like the Del sol or something like that

 

yea, the Del sol's use the B16 in some models.
All 92-00 civics are interchangable

All mounts, clutches, trannys, manifolds, header, powersteering, intakes, throttle bodys, heads, linkages, ect, you get the idea.
