im wonderin is this a good motor.im wantin to change it to a b18 soon.or should i keep the d16y8 and just build it up?

it's a good motor depending on what you wnat to do w/ it d's work good for boost b's for n/a but you can go both ways w/ both so really it comes downto what you want to do. aka do some research and decide the FAQ at the top of the forum might help

Your best bet with any D series is to go boost, thats the only way to get the most power out of it. Otherwise swap to a B18, they are good starting points.

if your power happy but don't have a lot of money i wouldn't go boost right away theres the tendency to turn that **** on the boost controller a little to far. just a warning (im gonna b guilty of this sin soon im boosting my y8)
