turbo pistons 8.3 compression ratio?

Default turbo pistons 8.3 compression ratio?

are pistons for a b16 turbo at 8.3 ratio good? too low? perfect?

Lower the compression more boost you could make up, although youll need a bigger turbo as well. 9:1 was my choice.

i tried to get 8.5 but the only ratio they had for the 84mm was 8.3 or 9.5 so i took da 8.3. but i havent heard ne-1 if they ever heard of neone use this ratio b4

guys that want to run lots of boost and make tons of power go with compression that low. most people that street drive their cars stay in the 9-10:1 range

if i were you i would have went with the 9.5:1

wuld i be fine if i used these pistons and boosted 12-15 pounds for a street car? just to be safe i guess cuz i had stock internals and my vacumm hose ripped slightly and slipped off and over boosted which led to a cracked piston. wanna keep it safe this time
