Ok im so crazy confused you have no idea.
I got a skunk2 suspension kit some time ago with some other stuff, but im not sure if It came with upper mounts....

I have bad memory and dont remember ... .... I dont really know what top hats/upper mounts look like, but i know they are needed for more suspension travel or whatever....

I wish i could take a picture of my car and be more clear, but sadly i cannot since its at the shop right now getting some stuff done....

What do top hats look like...can anyone show me a picture of top hats compared to the stock parts....

yes your car (if it is a civic) does come with upper mounts. that is how they are able to put together the strut and spring.

if you are thinking about these upper mounts aka top hats:

then no, your car does not have them, nor did your skunk2 suspension kit. and these are not needed for more suspension travel.

the link you gave doesn't show any pics. chances are you didn't get the top hats you are thinking of.

you don't really need them, though they do help, it's not necessary to have them.
