well i was contemplating on buying a new set of cams for my car

ALL STOCK INTERNALS: which is why im asking this question
are ctr and/or itr cams safe to run on a relatively stock valvetrain or am i PLAYING WITH FIRE......
my friend said it would be smart to get better valves retainers springs etc...
~but ON TO THE QUESTION...would it be safe to run ctr itr cams on my car...HERES THE CATCH
because i plan to instal a jackson racing supercharger running 7-10 psi in the near months to come

youll be fine with ctr/itr cams...vavles are not required...if your going stage 2's you'll def need new vavletrains. If your not going with the ctr/itr cams you can go with the stage 1 skunk2s...there slightly better...but might as well get skunk2 stage 2's ...haha
If you plan to install the supercharger, your money would be better spent on some engine management and tuning rather than the cams. But to answer your question, it shouldn't be a problem running ITR cams with your stock springs, assuming you maintain the factory red line. I'd still suggest switching to ITR springs for an added margin of safety though.

true...a JRSC isn't a cheap at all and other mods that require it to run well burns your wallet haha...i myself have been researching alot on a turbo setup for my sohc, its nothing but buying this and that just for it to run.
