I hate you. When we put my twin loop on, we reused the 2.5" axle back I had, but we couldn't get it to weld up with the muffler on correctly, so my loop is now on the bottom

Ebay intake / K&N filter vs AEM CAI v2

Whats the advantage the ebay intake has? because im about to buy the AEM CAI V2 Titanium, and now i wanna know why its not recommended.

you can find this answer all over this site but i'll make it easy for you, w/AEM all you're really paying for is the name and maybe .5hp so is ur extra $150 really worth .5hp? an ebay intake serves the same purpose just is a little simpler and alot cheaper

Your Intake piping really has less to do with anything. A good filter is all that really matters on your intake, ergo its the exact same to run a no name intake pipe with a quality filter aka k&n make good filters. So spend the 10$ for a ebay intake then the 50$ for a k&n cone. And spend the 10$ and get the k&n filter cleaning kit, and clean the filter occasionally. Rocking the dirty filter is not cool.

Just as stated, AEM is all name. I suggest you get an ebay pipe, with bpi flowstack and k&n filter. Should run you less than $150 altogether. Just make the sure the pipe is 3" because I think that is the size of flowstack and make sure it'll fit your engine bay.
