JDM headlights question
Hello Honda-tech!
Has anyone installed any of the JDM headlights that are available? I was thinking about getting one but was wondering if you needed to do the complete JDM conversion in order to install them or is it just plug and play?
Thanks in advance!

Dacalac is correct. You will need a full JDM conversion and he listed the parts needed to do the conversion. Just to add the his list, right hand side hood hinge and hood prop.
Wow I learned something new for the day.
So I don't get it though the JDM and USDM Fit look pretty much the same and the headlights look like they have the same shape why does it require a whole front end conversion?

the whole front end is actually a few inches shorter on the JDM version. These few inches will make all the difference in how things fit and line up. Just be glad there is no welding involved.

I realize this thread is over a month old now, but if you don't mind me asking Pogidawgie, how much did your complete conversion cost? If I was able to obtain all of the parts how hard would it be to do myself? (I'm not all that knowledgeable about cars, but if there's no welding involved then I don't think it could be that difficult)

Definitely not a DIY. You will need a Body Shop to align the JDM parts. Some modifications/fabrications are needed. You will also need to replace the upper radiator support to properly fit the JDM hood latch. Note: the USDM hood latch is infront of the radiator support. The JDM hood latch is inside the radiator support.
