you are correct sir...

and to the OP for the intake manifold... You could but its alot of work for not a whole lot of power.. And if your going to spend that money you might as well spend like 50$ more and get a skunk2 or AEBS...

Most of the times b16s dont see the gains as a 1.8l motor would.. Unless you have headwork/cams done..

Hope this helps

Yes putting an ITR IM is better for your engine. Creates better flow etc...

Is it a noticeable difference, from a butt dyno stand point, or on a dyno graph.

I put an ITR IM on my stock B16, and the car felt slower in the low and mid range than when i had the stock IM on. I couldn't really tell a difference on the top end, although i believe it is supposed to help.

I ended up selling the ITR IM and putting on the stock one and the car felt much smoother.

well an ITR is all top end power. it would sacrifice your low end

not on a stock b16

Intake manifolds usually dont make any real power on b16s without headwork/valvetrain...

I have seen personally on a dyno where a skunk2 intake manifold LOST power up until like 7k rpm on a stockish b16.. It only made about 3whp from 7-8300 rpm..

It moves the power band up higher so a b16 with head work would benift..

Long story short.. Unless you have a better flowing head or a 1.8l motor.. You aint gonna see any gains..

Keep the b16
