will 2002-2005 parts fit on the 2006 RSX's and will type-s parts fit on a base model. my friend has the base model wondering if he cna fit type-s parts on the base model. Thank god i dont have that problem

Anyhoo, Base parts will not fit on a type s. There are slight differences that will cause fitment issues.

Intake manifold is different so the intakes are technically different.
The whole exhaust and location of flanges is different
Brakes are different
Cams and other internals
Tranny is diff incase he wants a short throw shifter or something.

Suspension wise you will be ok.
