Default Exhaust tip vs axle back

If I change my exhaust tip on my ex will that change the sound at all? or would I have to get at least a different axle back?(I'd probably get one from a Si)

exhaust tip wont change the sound at all. the axle back will though but only a little bit. i can barely notice a difference with my Si axleback and i even have the megan DP

first of all. LOL

second of all, some tips will change the sound, for the worse. look into some exhaust systems, theres some really good inexpensive ones out there. i dont have a top brand exhaust, but the results were just as good, sounds ****, 2.5 inch piping all the way back, etc. etc. and i spent half the dough..... same with my intake.

ok, So to get a little louder sound would the hfp exhaust be better than the normal si one? Or should i just scrap that Idea and think about an evo2 or skunk axleback..

do u have a intake yet? that alone will make the exhaust sound louder, better. if thats what your going for.

i have a cold air and exhaust system with the silencer on most the time. its quiet when cruzing, but screams when i open her up.
