no there is no kit to do it, and it would cost many thousands of dollars, and would involve LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of custom work.
Just buy a 240.

well, here is some guy who did a mid-engine rwd project.
unless you have a **** load of money, this really is not feasible or even worthwhile.

i think the guy said it cost him $10K and that was with him doing all of the labor. i would seriously imagine if you could find a shop willing to do this for you (which i highly doubt) you would be looking at $15K easily.

i bet it would be a lot more than 15k if he found a shop competent enough to do this..
That guy has been working on it for years, it didnt just come together overnight.
It almost can't be repeated, it's amazing how he built that car.
To the OP, as cool as it would be, it wouldnt be worth it. By the time you're done, you could have had something a bit better, and with less money. Less time with a down car as well.
Lets say you spent 7k on your car, plus the 15k at the least to do it, equals 22k, you could have bought like a used evo, had the car right away, and not had to worry about whether or not it would ever work.
The guy on team integra that built that car is an engineer, im like his 50's so all of the knowledge he has helped him a LOT, you're only 21, he has over 30 years of knowledge on you.
I'm not insulting you or anything, im just trying to point out that what he did is amazing, and it probably is near impossible to be replicated.

same thing from team-integra.
If you check out his website from his profile, he has a LOT of information, all in one place, so if you wanna look, I'd look there.

Lot of work and pioneering.
Fabrication and lots of know-how. Not a task for most.
Dave built his out of love for hondas and to have a mean track car.
he did his with weight specificactions and tuned all the cornerweights to match his new mid-engine rwd setup.
It took him a long time, but the way he did it it's hard not to believe it rolled out of the factory that way.

The money you spent making it RWD could make it handle better and go faster FWD.
FWD isn't all that bad.

well...there was this RWD Integra that competed in the D1 Series back in Atlanta like 2 years ago. Long story short...it did crap lol. I say just keep it FWD...but I guess it would set yours apart from other integras.

Thats a completely custom setup, there was a japanese magazine cover i saw with an integra rear wheel drive, spent thousands on the complete setup, and still its not a definite sure or set in stone that its a completely safe and reliable setup. Just buy another car that has rwd, and call it a day.

I have to say that project looks amazing. I've only glanced through a few pics so far but I plan on going through that whole thread when I have a few hours to kill. I mean putting an engine and front suspension into the back of a car is one thing, but making it totally streetable, down to including a place in front for the jack and spare tire, that's in a whole other league. The thoughtfulness and attention to detail on every aspect of the car (from what I've seen) just blows me away. All I can say is just wow.

No offense but if you have to ask how mush work it will take to do this you probably don't have enough skill or knowledge to do this just buy a s13 240sx and keep your teg and avoid the headache and expense
Out of curiosity how much would you guys be honestly willing to spend if someone offered a RWD conversion for an integra. and it was a good job utilizing an s2k tranny....
given there was a kit out there that made a dc2 into rwd with 6 gears..... what would you pay?

rwd only really helps when you do drag racing. Track, you can tune the suspension to react similar to a rwd setup.
if you want to stay in the honda family, s2k is probably your best bet. You can find used ones for $18-25k.

Maybe, but you're still only "reacting similar" to a RWD setup on a road course. With RWD you don't have the front tires doing double duty of steering the car AND pulling the car round the track. You also can't control the direction of the car around a curve w/ the throttle on a FWD car like you can on RWD.
