Default eg9 cluster speedo problem pls help

I replaced my cluster because the odometer was sticking but the speedo always worked. I replaced it with the guts of a old guage cluster i found in the at my buddies shop this made the odometer work but the speedo would kick in and out so i thought that the cluster was the problem so i bought a EG9 cluster and installed it, after about 20 mins of driving with it in the speedo went all messed up and reversed starting in the white part at the bottom then the faster i went it would climb backwards from 200kph towards 120kph but the odometer would always work

any one here of this?

pls help me

Maybe it's your VSS (vehicle speed sensor). Try cleaning the connection.

Top, rear of the transmission. Search "VSS" to find a pic of it.

its very simple, there are 2 parts to it. The gear that is held on my one 12mm bolt, and the sensor and plug which is held to the gear with two 10mm bolts. Try cleaning up the sensor. If that doesnt do it just replace it. Its 5 bucks at the junkyard. I just did it today, and my speedo finally works again (ive been through 2 different ones and my cel just threw a code yesterday. late bloomer i guess i dono.)
