Acura integra Signal lights on body kit and paint.
im trying to decide on which body kit to get for my car. first off, i am wondering if anyone has gotten a body kit painted at Maako (sp*) its apparently 250 dollars to paint a whole car there. my car is metallic red, i dont know if that makes it more expensive or not. anyways...second question. the body kit i want to get has no spot for the front integra stock signal lights.
this is what im thinking about:

but i dont know what i'd do about the front signal lights. thanks

I was gonna be smart *** with this post but I'm gonna be straight with you and try to be as constructive as possible.
First, Maaco/One Day/Earl Schieb and the like are not the best places to get your paint done. Expect to have tons of orange peel, painted weatherstripping, and eventually; chipping paint. But thats what comes along with $250 paint jobs.
Secondly, not many people on HT, including myself, will be in favor of a R34 body kit. Or any body kit for that matter. R34 front bumpers look great on R34's. Body kits tend to look cheap, tacky, and just plain lame. BUT, if your heart is set on this kit, then who cares what anyone thinks - just go for it. Just dont expect people feel the same way as you do about your car.
For the signal light problem, you'll have to get creative and use aftermarket lights to replace your signals.

also, maaco advertises cheap prices like that, but once you get in there they jack up the price.
my brother went in to get a small area on his truck painted, and they had all kinds of extra charges... ended up being like 700 bucks to do it...
He went somewhere else.
As for the body kit, i have no clue... But it's your car.

like others have said, don't go to macco. paint is something you don't want to cheap out on, a year or two later you'll regret it and spend more money to repaint it.
as for the blinkers, you obviously can't reuse the stock ones. you have to get aftermarket ones and put them behind the grill somewhere. depending on where you live, you'll probably be fine without putting them in at all.

buy my lip/bodykit

Don't go maaco if you want it clean looking, you get what you pay for, It only cost me $250 to get mine professionally done and they did a great job

You do get what you pay for, but in Maaco's defense, I've seen some good jobs come out of there and last a long time, but they ended up paying 1400 or so with a 5 year warranty. As far as body kits, once again quality ones do exist. AIT Racing seems to be the best quality and value for what I've seen, so keep them in mind. Good luck with the car...
IMO i wouldnt go with any kit, integras look clean without it, but if that floats ur boat then by all means go for it
also i wouldnt recomend cheap paint on a kit (or any thing) cuz it will straight up just come off. specially if ur kit is fiberglass. Trust, back in my ricer days i had a body kit and i got some cheap paint and for some reason fiberglass doesnt like paint very much. the freeway just Fkd it up
i would just save my bills for better paint, or just ditch the kit and buy ur self some nice performance mods!
cuz there is not point in looking fast, if u cant go fast!

i'd sell it cheap im not looking to get rich, the lip is polyerathane, It's been on the car for about a year, let me know if you're really interested
still havent decided yet but I noticed you live in oregon, which would probobly make me not want to sell it just because of the fact that shipping would be so high since your on the opposite side of the US... I updated the pics above for the heck of it...
