Default Questions

1. What's the differences between HID conversion kit selling for 250-300, HID healights on ebay selling for 150-180 per headlight, and retrofit that's like 1000 bucks over? From the picture, those HID headlights going for 150-180 looks the same as those who got their headlight retrofitted.

So what's the difference?

2. Non-Si has LSD?

Thanks

when you say crap, you mean they are those that will stop working all the sudden? Too bad they looked really nice lol But with retrofit you'll get the same look as those ebay ones right? just way better quality?

The HID conversion kit is just an HID bulb that has a harness to plug into your stock plugs. Its in your stock housings which are NOT developed for an HID setup. Therefor you dont have the right output or beam for them, causing a glare or possibly 'blinding' oncoming traffic.
Thats what the projectors are for, to direct the light to the correct area. The Retrofits are a custom hand made set up from a couple different peices of headlights from cars, to make a sexy, functional, sick HID set up. most popular being the TSX projectors with an MDX shroud, painted whichever color you want, custom hand molded into your OEM headlights with a ballast and harness. Correct me if im wrong please.
This OEM setup also ensures proper fitment, and if purchased for the right people means no leaks, fogging, or bad quality.
The ebay setups are cheap replicas of the OEM setups with a twist. They are "projectors" are low quality and dont necessarily project the light where it is actually supposed to go. Also I have read that they recommend that you DO NOT use an HID setup as it may melt the lenses. Again being the cheap kind that they are, they are prone to leaking and fogging, along with not the best fitment and overall quality. and lastly, most are ricey looking esp the halo's.

I hope this helps you out, and if anyone can correct me on any errors i made, please feel free as i typed this while i was drunk, about to go to bed...
